By Valenti Organics Mineral Makeup Line Delayed Until Lead Testing Results

In response to a recent report by The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and FDA findings of lead in 400 lipsticks, By Valenti Organics is postponing its mineral makeup line launch to conduct thorough testing for lead contamination.

This decision comes after discovering lead in products from major and organic cosmetic brands alike.

Due to the latest report launched by The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and the test results provided by the FDA on 400 lead contaminated lipsticks, we're delaying the launching of our mineral makeup line until all our mineral ingredients are tested to discard possible lead contamination.

Among many of the lipsticks contaminated with high levels of lead from Maybelline, L'Oreal and other giant cosmetic companies. Alarmingly we found lead contaminated lipsticks from some of our competitors in the organic skin care industry as well.

At By Valenti Organics, we understand many of the companies responsible for this, had no knowledge their ingredients were contaminated with lead among other harmful chemicals and trusted their suppliers. That's why we've decided to test all our ingredients as a precautionary measure, and we will continue to do so with every batch of mineral makeup launched.

We want all our consumers to feel safe when using our products. As manufacturers in the organic cosmetic industry our responsibility is keeping all our clients and the environment safe and clean, not just to make money putting at risk the health and well-being of consumers.
