Cosmetics Industry Leader Backs Moran Bill to end Animal Testing for Good

We are proud to be among the 133 Cosmetics Industry Leaders and Stakeholders in support of Congressman Jim Moran’s proposed Humane Cosmetics Act (H.R. 4148) to prohibit the manufacture and the sale of animal-tested cosmetics in the United States.

Manuela Valenti, Founder & CEO, of By Valenti Organics, said, “By Valenti Organics is proud to be a supporter of the Humane Cosmetics Act (H.R. 4148). Beauty products shouldn’t be tainted with the blood and suffering from innocent animals. From our humble beginnings we made the commitment to never test on animals nor allow any third party to test on animals on our behalf. We believe all the animals that exist on this planet are not here for our use and abuse, but for us to protect and ensure every species thrives for the balance of our planet. Animal testing for cosmetics and cosmetic ingredients isn’t necessary. Through ethical manufacturing practices this barbaric medieval process can be rolled out to all cosmetic products manufactured in the United States.”

At BVO we have never tested on animals and 3 times we have declined the sales of our products in China, a market that conducts mandatory animal testing on cosmetic products. As a leader in the natural cosmetic industry, we hope more and more cosmetic companies will follow more ethical and humanitarian ways to test their products that won’t involve the cruel and barbaric practices that domestic and wild animals have endured for so long.

Let’s stop animal testing and the ugly cruel industry that supports it.
