I love this shampoo bar. I've read lots of reviews on private forums about this product and some of those that claim to have tried it don't seem to know how shampoo bars work. SO here's my honest review. My hair is straight, very thin and long. I don't use conditioners or bottle shampoos, just this shampoo bar every other day and the companion hair rinse once or twice a week. If your hair is heavily treated, colored, damaged or yu use a lot of commercial products this shampoo won't work the first time you try it. IT takes a few washes to get your hair used to it, but it's well worth it.

I love this little shampoo bar. It leaves my hair soft and scalp clean and it lasts for ever. But like all shampoo soaps, if you don't know how to use them you get the wrong results. Don't rinse it out well and you will get what appears to be dandruff, which is nothing but soap scum. Don't use enough and your hair will appear greasy shortly after. I recommend spraying some of the hair rinse after, it really makes a difference. Really great shampoo, and a solution to our plastic pollution.

I was so excited to find this product!! The original formula (the one that had only the saponified oils, essential oils, and ACV) was the best ever! I had been looking for years for something that worked because of my skin sensitivities, so I’m so disappointed that the formula changed. It doesn’t irritate my skin thankfully, but I have dandruff now and within twelve hours my hair (and my two year old daughter’s too) looks greasy. If cost is the reason for the formula change I would be more than happy to pay more for the original bar! In the meantime the search for shampoo continues. I’ll keep checking back to see if the original formula ever comes back though because it was seriously glorious. Thank you guys for offering natural beauty products, I’m sad to go!
