What is Skin Streaming?

Skin Streaming being the new craze in skincare, is all about simplifying your beauty routine, one we have been advocates here at by valenti ORGANICS for 17 years now.

But for this to work, one must listen to their skin needs, and identify the problems or concerns our skin is sometimes loudly, telling us about.

How to Skin Stream

A good and simple skincare routine must have 3 steps, that's it. Cleaning, Toning & Nourishing.

Multipurpose products instead of single-purpose-only products, are a must.

For example, rather than aiming for a double-cleansing method, which although has invaluable skin benefits but it's costly and time consuming, opt for a by-phase cleanser and makeup remover which can be applied morning and evening, and will equally provide benefits to the skin.

What are the benefits of Skin Streaming?

Your skin is more likely to absorb the nutrients of good fewer products, instead of being smothered by lots of product layering. The fewer products you apply to your face that aren't compatible or that combined can disrupt your skin's microbiome, the less chances of your skin getting irritated. Plus fewer products means more free time and savings, and we could sure use a bit more of those.

Skin Streaming, or classical skincare, requires knowing not only your skin type (normal, oily, dry or combination) but its concerns (acne, wrinkles, eczema or dermatitis, etc.)

Which products should you aim for

Stick to a three step beauty routine, Cleansing, Toning and Nourishing, and forget about masks, exfoliation, steaming and layering several products one on top of the other.

An example for a really good skin-streaming routine for someone with oily skin, acne and dermatitis would be, a by-phase cleanser, that doubles as a gentle morning cleanser and evening makeup remover.

Instead of a single-purpose toner, use instead a multi-purpose toner/serum/spritz with Hyaluronic acid and Niacinamide, to hydrate, keep acne at bay and tackle those fine lines and wrinkles.

And rather than applying a single-purpose moisturizer, aim for high quality products with highly rated actives with a multitude of proven results.

Who should Skin Stream?

Anyone. Just make sure any products prescribed by your dermatologist for specific concerns like rosacea, acne, or eczema remain in your routine. Removing these products might make your condition worse and the overall results might not be what you're looking for.

Happy skincare!
