DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?
No, we do not. We don't test on animals and don't buy ingredients that are tested on animals. We're Certified Cruelty Free by the Leaping Bunny Program, we're Endorsed Cruelty Free by the Naturewatch Foundation and we have signed the HSUS Humane Cosmetics Act H.R. 4148 for the #BeCrueltyFree Campaign.
DO YOU SELL YOUR PRODUCTS IN CHINA?
No, we do not. We do not sell our products in markets where animal testing is conducted directly or indirectly on our behalf.
ARE BY VALENTI'S PRODUCTS VEGAN AND CRUELTY FREE?
By Valenti Organics has been certified cruelty-free since 2012 by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics' (CCIC) Leaping Bunny Program, Endorsed Cruelty Free by the Naturewatch Foundation and we have signed the HSUS Humane Cosmetics Act H.R. 4148 for the #BeCrueltyFree Campaign. All our products are cruelty free and the majority are vegan. We only use botanicals and vegetable oils from sustainable producers. Although we do use organically sourced beeswax, goat's milk and raw honey in a few of our products.
WHY WON'T YOU SUPPORT PETA?
This is a question we get a lot, so despite the controversial answer we decided to put it up here.
We will not be endorsed by PETA nor we will ever work with PETA. PETA has a known killing rate of over 95% in the US.
Our Founder is an animal activist, has helped raise money for animal charities, non-killing animal shelters and sanctuaries for the past 24 years, she's saved hundreds of animals from shelters, and volunteers at the Michigan Humane Society.
She won't endorse an organization who considers "humane" putting down almost every critter surrendered to them or that they have taken from someone's porch.
Additionally PETA does not remove from their list of "certified cruelty free" the companies that sell their products in markets where animal testing is mandatory and often times done on behalf of the companies.

DO YOU USE LYE TO MAKE YOUR SOAPS?
Yes, it's the only way to make true soap. That's how it's being done for centuries and how the best and true soaps are still made today. The lye (Sodium Hydroxide) reacts with the oils or fats creating a chemical reaction called Saponification. The lye becomes inactive and what remains is pure soap plus approximately 25% pure natural vegetable glycerin.
DO YOU USE FD&C COLORANTS IN YOUR PRODUCTS?
As much as we love bright and inviting colors we don't use FD&C Colorants, or Dyes.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS HYPOALLERGENIC?
Although all the ingredients we use are natural and generally safe for all skin types, certain allergic reactions may occur if you're sensitive to certain botanicals. If you have extremely sensitive skin do a test in a small area of your body before fully using any of our products.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CERTIFIED ORGANIC?
Our products are no longer certified organic by the USDA. We became USDA Certified Organic by the Global Organic Alliance, Inc. on March 2014. On September 2015, we decided not to renew our organic certification after the realization current USDA standards are not designed for cosmetics but food. The USDA organic certification does not provide any assurance skin care products are safe to consumers, in many instances allowing for unsafe formulations just to achieve certification. WHAT IS THE FRESCHEZZA SYMBOL ON YOUR LABELS?
Freschezza in Italian means Freshness, which is our unique way to present the expiration date on all our products. Inside this Freschezza symbol you'll find the date until the product can be used, when is most effective.
ORDERS AND RETURNS
CAN I PLACE AN ORDER WITH MY HUSBAND'S OR SOMEONE ELSE'S CREDIT CARD?
You may not. Only the legally authorized owner of the Credit Card can make purchases on our website. Any orders placed with an unauthorized Credit Card will be cancelled.
Your billing name and address must match the actual name and address on your credit card for legal authorization to charge your credit card. Spouses or other individuals who indicate they have been given "verbal" authorization to use a card aren't able to provide sufficient legal authorization, as they are not the valid cardholder.
If you do not have a credit card on your name, and you wish to place an order on our website, request your spouse or friend to create an account on their name and ship the order to you or your household.
CAN YOU SPLIT MY ORDER IN TWO?
We're sorry, but we cannot split one order into two, nor ship some of the items to a different location.
To gift friends or family members, please place a separate order with the products you wish to send each party. Make sure to enter the appropriate shipping address and select the shipping option that suits your needs.

MY ORDER WAS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
It is normal for outside boxes and envelopes to show sign of wear, however if the content was damaged, please Contact Us.
HOW CAN I PRE-ORDER AN OUT-OF-STOCK PRODUCT?
Products that are out-of-stock but are available for pre-order show an
add to cart button. Simply click the add to bag button and continue to
checkout. Pre-ordered products will be shipped on the date they become
available.
CAN I PLACE AN ORDER BY PHONE?
We don't accept orders by phone at this time.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discovery, ApplePay, Amazon Pay, Google Checkout, Meta, Dinners Club, and Shop Pay (installments).
