Our journey began in 2006 when our founder, Manuela Valenti, decided to create a simple soap to cure her decades old dermatitis. Shortly after she embarked in the creation of a skincare line that would prioritize both skin health and environmental sustainability. With a passion for organic ingredients and effective formulations, she set out to develop a range of products that would be gentle, nourishing, and free from harmful chemicals.

But our commitment goes beyond just formulating and creating great skincare products with our unique proprietary formulas. We also have a strong stance against animal cruelty. We believe in the ethical treatment of animals and strive to support cruelty-free practices that go beyond what the beauty industry considers acceptable.

What sets us apart is our commitment to cruelty-free skincare. We do not test our products on animals, we never have and never will, nor we will allow anyone to do so in our name. We believe in ethical practices and ensuring that our products are not only good for your skin but also for the animals we share this planet with.

Certified since 2012 by the Leaping Bunny Program in the US, The Nature Watch Foundation in the UK, we have remained a truly cruelty-free company, by not only putting animals welfare above beauty, but not selling in markets like China, which mandates or conducts animal testing on beauty products, sometimes without the knowledge of the brands.

Advocating for the ethical treatment of animals, we support organizations such as The Michigan Humane Society, where our founder volunteers her time and money, as well as the Humane Society of the United States to stop animal cruelty and testing from within our country's legislation.
