Bakuchiol Smoothing Serum

Lightweight, nourishing and readily absorbed bright golden honey colored dry oil, with a pleasant floral-fruity aroma derived from the lavender, bergamot, Egyptian geranium rose, and sea buckthorn oils in the formula.

Is Bakuchiol the same as Retinol?

No, Bakuchiol is not Retinol. Bakuchiol is a completely unique active ingredient that provides the same results Retinol is known for, but with the added benefit that can be used during the day, as it's not photo-toxic.
Is Bakuchiol safe to apply during pregnancy/breastfeeding?

Bakuchiol is not like all retinols (vitamins A), and because it is not related to vitamin A that it might be considered safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women. However because there isn't significant data that we could find, we recommend consulting your doctor before applying any product containing Bakuchiol.
Why is your Bakuchiol Serum yellow/gold and not purple?

Bakuchiol (Sytenol® A), the real single molecule ingredient from the only manufacturer Sytheon, is a sticky and dense golden/brown oil soluble ingredient. Products formulated with this ingredient are never white, purple or pink.
Can the vitamin C serum be combined with other products?

Yes. Olio Di C can be applied alongside other active-ingredients containing products.
Would your vitamin c serum cause any irritation?

There have not been any reports of irritation when applying this product as recommended. Although rare some individuals are sensitive to topical applications of vitamin C. We recommend to conduct a patch test prior to committing to using this serum regularly.
